Are you new to Pilates?

We have entry level programs designed to teach you a safe progression of Pilates exercises based on your individual needs, regardless of your age, body type or current level of fitness.  Our approach to Pilates can enhance an already active lifestyle, or provide the support and encouragement you need to make a new commitment to whole body health!

To register, you will need to complete a Client Profile, which will alert us if you have any physical concerns that may affect your program with us.  One of our teachers will review your profile and recommend the options for beginning your Pilates experience.  We can customize a Pilates program to suit your schedule and budget.

For advanced placement:
If you have previous Pilates training you will need to schedule a 1/2 hour assessment to determine class placement.

Discover Pilates

This is a series of 8 classes introducing the basic Pilates Mat and Pilates Towel™ repertoire.  Each Discover Pilates series features 8 small group classes over a 4 week period leading towards one of our ongoing Pilates programs in Pilates Mat or Pilates Towel™ or Pilates Mat/Towel™.  This is an excellent choice for your first Pilates experience.

Pilates Equipment - Introductory Series

Discover the challenge and benefits of resistance training on Pilates equipment. This is the entry level series towards the full Pilates experience.

Introductory programs begin with a series of 4 one hour private sessions to design a sequence of Pilates exercises tailored to individual physical requirements.  Each personal program includes instruction for safe and effective use of the appropriate Pilates equipment.

Our Introductory Series package includes:

  • the initial 4-private sessions (scheduled over a 7-10 day period)
  • plus, an additional free 1 hour private session scheduled 6-8 weeks after entering group sessions, as an advancement session for further program development.

Well Back Clinic™

This 10 class series is recommended if you’ve been unable to exercise effectively due to chronic pain or movement limitations in your spine, shoulders or hips.  This progressive series of modified mat exercises and corrective spine stretches is offered in a small group setting.  It also provides assessment for further Pilates training and a program for home practise.

Rehabilitative Exercise

Movement rehabilitation programs are available for those who:

  • experience pain or discomfort with daily activities or exercise.
  • have a history of chronic pain due to medical condition, injury or postural imbalances.
