TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAM
Application information for Certificate Programs 2008
Application is open to all advanced students and Pilates teachers who meet the prerequisites (see prerequisite list of basic anatomy and required exercises).
Participants should be prepared to:
- demonstrate a working knowledge of basic anatomy
- execute the prerequisite exercises, or a personal modification prior to each Module.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of each applicant to ensure that they meet the prerequisites. Anyone not currently studying at the Dianne Miller Pilates Center is encouraged to book an assessment prior to submitting an application. Anyone unable to schedule this should plan to arrive far enough in advance of Module 1 to allow for private and/or group appointments in preparation for the Module.
This enables us to
- assess current skill level;
- identify any current physical issues;
- assist in preparation for the Module.
We require advance notice for all appointments. Regular studio fees and policies apply to all appointments and classes booked in addition to the Modules. (See our studio fee information for more details).
Next application deadline for 2007/08 Certificate Programs is January 18th, 2008.
Completed applications will be reviewed and may require an interview and/or demonstration of prerequisite exercises prior to acceptance. All applicants will be notified by telephone or e-mail on, or before January 25th, 2008 regarding acceptance.
